A prototype of the new smart phone can also be fed with ambient sounds, as the cheers from a football field or in the local chatter.

A team of scientists from Queen Mary University in London and a researcher at Nokia have created a device that can be supplied with noise being made every day, as in traffic or music, and converted into electricity. The team will create a device that can take the energy from the movements and turn it into electricity.

"With supply noise and vibrations, can improve the use of electronic devices while operating even more, without having to connect to a fault," said a member of the team of scientists. "It may be useful also for the environment, if we could use a small amount of energy (light, sound, movement, heat) into the environment, we will have less need for the production of electricity from burning fossil fuels."

"I think that in the future we can feed the phones in this way, however, this energy will not be sufficient enough to supply the entire phone, or to remove other modes of supply of equipment," he said. "However, we can not help feed our phones so often."
