- A new option lets you discover iClould if using an iPhone was reported stolen
Apple has created a new option in the iCloud, which helps you discover if an iPhone used is reported as stolen. You simply need to press your IMEI-n device (usually located on the back of Apple's devices) and information will be displayed immediately if the device is activated with another Apple ID.
If the device says "Activation Lock On", meaning that a user has enabled Apple device's account of his or her. If you buy a used iPhone from someone else, you must get from his account until the phone is activated with a new ID.
If someone disables the feature "Find My iPhone" to steal an iPhone, it still requires the original Apple ID that is used in the initial activation before it was used.
