Apple yesterday released its financial results for the third quarter of its fiscal year 2014 (second quarter of the calendar year). The company managed to win about 37.43 billion dollars.

S iPhone sales were almost identical to the expectation-sold about 35.2 million units, just slightly below the expected figure, around 36 million. However, iPhone sales increased by NGOs 12.8%.

S iPad sales were lower than expected - 13.3 million units were sold, even though investors and analysts expect to sell 14 to 15 million units. In the last quarter was about 16:35 million iPad sold, so we have a very large decrease from one quarter to another.

Mac devices were sold around 4.4 million units, an increase of 18%. Earnings per share were 28.1%, while revenues were almost identical to expectation, about 38 billion dollars.

Sales of tablets continue to be less problematic for the company, despite that it continues to characterize this market segment with its iPads first. After the massive sales that competitors can only dream of, this is the second quarter where sales have fallen s iPad.
