LG company released its financial results for the second fiscal quarter of this year. This quarter has been very successful for the company.
LG reported that in the second quarter of 2014 has earned 399.8 million dollars in net profit, an increase of 26.5% year on year. In total, the company managed to win 14.93 billion dollars in the second quarter, an increase of 7.7%.
The company sold a record number of its intelligent phones, about 14.5 million units, 20% more than a year ago. Sales increased 16% from the same quarter last year at 3:51 billion dollars, the highest figure since the first quarter of 2010.
LG Home Entertainment Division had a successful quarter also. In this quarter managed to win about 4.94 billion dollars, an increase of 3% from quarter to quarter.
